EASY SWITCH-OVER WITH DUO The CMI™300 Pulse is available in three versions: SINGLE, DUO and TRIO. The DUO version has room for two 11” spools, providing easy switch-over between operations without change of torch, wire, wire drive rolls and gas. The machine automatically detects which torch/wire feed unit is active.
MIG BRAZING
In addition to sheet metal welding, the CMI™300 Pulse features MIG brazing with and without the pulse of galvanized steel plates. MIG Brazing requires less heat, reducing distortion of thin plates, protecting heat-sensitive advanced high strength steels, and maintaining the corrosion resistance. The result is a time-saving, cost-effective, joining process required by multiple manufacturers.
CMI™300 PULSE WITH 36 PRE-SET PROGRAMS The programs meet the requirements for welding and brazing, for example for high-tensile steel and aluminum used by the automotive industry.
DOUBLE PULSE FOR WELDING AND BRAZING CMI™300 Pulse features double pulse – a function required by several OEMs that further controls the heat in the weld and provide a TIG-like appearance. Double pulse settings are fully adjustable.
BOOST FOR VERSATILE SUPPLY VOLTAGE The CMI™300 Pulse is available with built-in Boost Converter (electronic autotransformer) for welding on single and three-phase mains voltages from 208V to 440V (50/60 Hz).
IGC® — FOR OPTIMAL SHIELDING OF WELD POOL
IGC (Intelligent Gas Control)* ensures optimal shielding of the weld pool and maintains the strength in the joint. The result is large-scale gas savings, better arc ignition, and a minimum of weld spatter.
MIG-A TWIST® The ergonomic MIG-A Twist torch has a turnable swan neck that allows you to access hard-to-reach places. MIG-A Twist is available in different lengths. The optional remote unit allows the technician to adjust the settings right from the torch as they weld.
The CMI™300 DUO Pulse Boost MIG Welder is used for all welding applications, including aluminum, steels, and MIG brazing (silicone bronze) for high strength steel. The CMI300 DUO is equipped with a 4-wheel wire feeding system, which provides steady, reliable feed for aluminum wire.
All Car-O-Liner CMI™300 welders come with the 4 meter (13.5’) MIG-A Twist torch/welding guns, allowing technicians to reach hard to reach areas and has a maximum amperage of 300 Amps.
The welders can operate in single phase or three phase through automatic recognition and are extremely easy to use with presets for different materials and thickness. Turn it on, press the button, and weld!
